How it works

A clear path from code to sky

The explorer starts with a searchable catalog. Pick an object to inspect its scientific details, place it in the sky, and open an optional illustrative 3D view.

1. Enter code

Search by a familiar name, identifier, planet, or constellation.

2. Review details

Review coordinates, magnitude, distance, source, and the values that are available for that object.

3. Explore

Continue to the sky map, save it locally, or record an observation.
